June 16, 2025Springtime Festival of the Jurade de Saint-Emilion, Sunday 15th June 2025
On Sunday 15th June, the Springtime Festival of La Jurade began by a mass held in the Collegiate Church of Saint-Emilion, followed by a parade of the Jurade and the VIPs at around 11.20am, from the Collegiate Church to the Monolithic Church, where the induction ceremony was held.

Afterwards, a superb banquet lunch was in the Salle des Dominicains, with the wines of Saint-Emilion in the spotlight and from 5pm a parade to the Tour du Roy for the Proclamation of the Judgement of the New Wine.
Several very well-known people were inducted as Honorary Winegrowers and Bourgeois of Saint-Émilion by the Jurade during the Spring Festival on Sunday, June 15th:
- Actress Eva Longoria, currently in the region filming, gave a great a surprise.
- Actor Raphaël Personnaz
- Actor Patrick Mille
- Screenwriter and Director Matthieu Delaporte
- Brazilian footballer Rai Souza Vieira de Oliveira
In total, more than twenty people were inducted by the Jurade at this occasion.
