April 14, 2025Commanderie de Bordeaux in Hamburg. Inductions & Wine Tasting Dinner, on 3rd April 2025
Maître Urs-Stefan Kinting
It was a great honor for me, as Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux à Hambourg, to preside over the induction of two new Commandeurs – John Patrik Leyba and Thies Goldberg – in the elegant setting of the Hanse Lounge in Hamburg. The evening was held in full accordance with the spirit and traditions of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux.
We welcomed our guests with Champagne, setting the tone for a festive and refined evening. The wine flights were accompanied by a beautifully curated menu, thoughtfully paired with the wines – a special word of appreciation goes to the kitchen and service team of the Hanse Lounge for their outstanding performance.
Tasting Highlights:
1. Flight (blind tasting)

This memorable evening once again demonstrated how Bordeaux brings people together – across glasses, generations, and borders.
