This AGM, Induction Ceremony and Gala Dinner were held on 27th November 2024 at JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo. There were 54 participants at the Annual General Meeting, Induction Ceremony and Gala Dinner
The Grand Maître du Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, Jean-Marc Dulong, presided over this ceremony and was accompanied by Benoît Souliès, Vice-Maître of L’Ordre des Vignerons de Bordeaux-Bordeaux Supérieur.
During the AGM, three new Commandeurs (Mr Tomoaki Kobayashi, Mrs Tomonori Yamada and Mr Yoshitsugu Nagao) were inducted.
The wines provided by L’Ordre des Vignerons de Bordeaux-Bordeaux Supérieur were the following :
Remy Breque Crémant de Bordeaux Brut
Château Lamothe Vincent 2023 white
Château Penin 2023 Clairet
Château Thieuley Francis Courselle 2019 red
Château L'Eclat Château L'éperon 2019 red
The wines were served to accompany the dishes of the Gala Dinner and the members of the Bordeaux delegation gave comments for each wine.
The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Sapporo also gave a surprise wine donation during this splendid evening reception, a Château Cardinal-Villemaurine, Sant-Emilion Grand Cru 1959.
