30 sommeliers are invited to attend this tasting at the Midland Hotel in Manchester

Friday 9^th June 2023
Extraordinary General Meeting of the GCVB (10.30am),
during which the validation of the draft resolution for the mandatory inclusion,
within all Commanderies de Bordeaux, of women Commandeurs, by 1^st January 2025.
Ordinary General Meeting of the GCVB (11 am).
At the end of this meeting, the election, by the Executive Board, of a new Grand Maître.
Jean-Marc Dulong takes over from Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, at the end of his term of office.
The ceremony for the official handover of power will take place on 12^th September 2023.

Handover of Power Ceremony. Hubert de Boüard de Laforest hands over to the new Grand Maître

Tuesday 12^th September 2023, at 12.00 pm in the Reception rooms of the Bordeaux Wine Bar.
 A lunch cocktail reception will be served after the ceremony.

The Grand Maître took advantage of a trip to Asia to pay visits to various Commanderies de Bordeaux in this part of the world.

4^th to 5^th October – South Korea - Meeting with Magnus Scherr. Discussion about the project to open a Commanderie de Bordeaux in South Korea.
5^th to 8^th October – Tokyo, Japan - Meeting with the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Tokyo.
8^th to 9^th October – Hanoi, Vietnam - Meeting with the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Hanoi.
10^th October – Hong Kong, China - Meeting with the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Hong Kong
11^th October – Shenzhen, China - Meeting with the Director of the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Shenzhen.
12^th October – Wuhan, China - Meeting with Ms. Fen Zhu, Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Wuhan and Manager of the company Les Clos Elysées.
The Grand Maître presided over an Induction Ceremony and Gala Dinner held in Wuhan on 12th October, during which 9 new Commandeurs were inducted. 

 Thursday 12^th October 2023
Inductions and Gala Dinner at the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Wuhan
Grand Maître Jean-Marc Dulong will officiate at this occasion and will present officially
the Diploma of Maître to Ms. Fen ZHU, who has been Maître of this Commanderie since 2021.  
An induction ceremony for 8 new Commandeurs will take place afterwards.
A Gala Dinner for thirty or so guests will follow these ceremonies.
