AGM and handover of powers at the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Singapore

On August 18, 2026, during its Annual General Meeting, the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Singapore marked an important milestone in its history with the handover of powers from its Maître, Claudio Salgado, to his successor, Gavin Sung.

Maître of the Commanderie since 2024, Claudio Salgado has been passionately committed to its development over the past few years and will continue to play an active role in its life, remaining a member of the Council as Past Maître.

Following the AGM, Gavin Sung was unanimously elected by all members and officially succeeded Claudio Salgado as Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Singapore. With extensive experience in the wine and hospitality industries, notably as a shareholder and Director of 67 Pall Mall, Gavin Sung will also be able to rely on the support of the Council members to further develop and enhance the profile of the Commanderie.

The Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux extends its warmest congratulations to Gavin Sung on his election and warmly thanks Claudio Salgado for his commitment throughout his tenure.
We wish Gavin Sung every success in his new role and look forward to continuing to strengthen the close ties between the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Singapore and the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux.
