Dinner to celebrate Saint Vincent (patron saint of winegrowers) on 23^rd February 2018
A friendly, pleasant evening bringing together winegrowers of the appellation, as well as other wine professionals: brokers, merchants, oenologists, wine tasters…. Before dinner, guests were able to discover a preview of the 2017 vintage. Despite the spell of frost that hit the winegrowing area in April 2017, the quality of this vintage is a lovely surprise; wines full of colour, with lovely fruity aromas, roundness, supple tannins and good balance. They possess freshness and they are delicious, easy-drinking wines. 2017: a vintage that is miserly for quantity, but good for quality! 

Primeur wine tasting: 10th & 11th April 2018
A presentation of the 2017 vintage and of 2015, a vintage ready for sale was held in the prestigious reception room of the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Bordeaux on 10^th & 11^th April 2018. Wine professionals (brokers, oenologists, sommeliers, restaurant and wine bar managers….) came from numerous countries, such as Russia, Brazil, Poland, Mexico, India, Japan…and also a large number of Chinese visitors. During this tasting event, professionals were able to share their impressions with winegrowers present, among whom many young generation winegrowers now taking over the management of their family estates. Despite a low quantity harvest, we find in these wines the distinctive qualities of the various terroirs of the appellation. They do not possess the complexity of 2015s or 2016s, but these wines have marvellous body and supple tannins, so they are very good.

Open Days at wine estates, 21^st and 22^nd April 2018
28 estates took part in an Open Estate Days programme filled with activities (5 winegrowers presented their wines at the Village Hall of Lalande de Pomerol). 

This year, 7 estates proposed friendly meals giving guests a warm welcome: meal at the property, picnic, barbecue, food truck and an event held on Saturday evening, Wine Aperron. Numerous activities: a ride in a horse-drawn carriage (a tour of 6 estates in Néac), an art exhibition, vintage cars, a jazz concert, a tasting of old vintages, a workshop for wine aromas, a demonstration of barrel assembly, a tour in the vineyard, a market selling farm produce…

It was a very successful weekend that drew a large number of visitors.
