On Friday, 27 February, the Sydney and Melbourne Chapters of the Commanderie de Bordeaux were hosted by H.E. Pierre-André Imbert, French Ambassador to Australia, at his Residence in Canberra. Fifty guests attended the evening, which began with three intronisations. Among those present were Jean-Marie Simart, founding Maître of the Commanderie in Australia, members of the Australian Board, and former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his wife. Jacques Lurton and his wife Natalie were also in attendance, and Jacques shared insights on Pessac-Léognan and the wines served. The evening was warmly appreciated by the Sydney and Melbourne members and their special guests!
