The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Naples, Florida held a wonderful dinner Sunday evening, 1st February, dedicated to the memory of Daniel Cathiard.
We had a record attendance of 54 people.
Candice Bernard Cathiard, niece of Florence and Daniel Cathiard, head of Hospitality for Cathiard Vineyard in Napa Valley and Château Smith Haut-Lafitte in Pessac-Léognan, did an excellent job in representing the châteaux.
During our remarks throughout the evening, both Candice and I paid tribute to Daniel Cathiard.
