On Friday, 11^th April, in the year of Our Lord 2025, on the Bordeaux lands of Blaye, during its annual visit, a large delegation of the Villers-La-Vigne Vineyard became twinned with the Clos de l’Echauguette Vineyard of the Citadel of Blaye.

The Vineyard of Villers-La-Vigne is found in Walloon Brabant, Belgian province of the region of Wallonia.

The reading in unison of the text of the twinning charter was conducted under the aegis of Franck Blanchard, Grand Maître of the Connétablie de Guyenne en Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, Emmanuelle Miller, Honorary Grand Maître of this same Brotherhood; Nicolas Carreau, Manager of Clos de l’Échaugette on behalf of all the winegrowers of the appellation; Mrs. Karine Caillaux, Director of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux Wine Syndicate and Mr. Christophe Waterkeyn, President of the Villers-La-Vigne Vineyard and Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Wallonia.
