The Grand Chapitre of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Vienna took place on November 8^th, 2024 at the Palais Todesco in the centre of Vienna. It was a very special event because Maître Christian Hauer inducted two Lady Commandeurs – the first ladies since the 1990s.

The two ladies are:

Eva Moosbrugger who manages the "Schloss Gobelsburg“ Winery together with her husband, who is one of the best winemakers in Austria. Schloss Gobelsburg is specialized in the grape varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Eva is a member of the Académie Internationale du Vin and since 2023 has been its Secrétaire Général.

Elena Rameder was a Sommelier and Wine Director in top-class restaurants. In October 2021 she became a managing partner of Restaurant “Aelium“, a fine-dining venue in St. Pölten near Vienna. A press release reported that she is “the most recognized female wine expert in Austria“. It is expected that she will soon be Austria’s only female “Master of Wine“.
