The Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux held its Congress of Maîtres of the Commanderies de Bordeaux, from 11^th to 13^th September 2024.

During these 3 days of the Maîtres’ Congress, all the Bordeaux appellations were given the spotlight.

This international event brought together 58 Maîtres, 4 Grands Maîtres, 1 Maître Emérite and 42 Accompanying Guests.

22 countries took part in the Maîtres’ Congress 2024: South Africa, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Spain, USA, France, Indonesia, Japan, Jersey, Lebanon, Lithuania, Norway, Netherlands, United-Kingdom, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and Vietnam.

On Thursday 12th September, Congress participants set off early in the morning for a day to “Discover the Vineyards of Bordeaux”. Two groups of fifty or so people to visit the Right Bank or the Left Bank of Bordeaux.
