A group from the Commanderie de Bordeaux in French-speaking Switzerland, with their Maître, Jean-Charles Lopez, came to visit the wine region of Bordeaux, in particular the Pomerol appellation, from 23rd to 26th May 2024.

7.00 pm : Dinner at Château Petit-Village in Pomerol
Friday 24th May 2024
9.30 am : visit/tasting at Château Mazeyres in Pomerol
11.30 am : visit and lunch at Château La Violette/Le Gay/Montviel in Pomerol
3.30 pm: visit/tasting at Château l’Eglise Clinet in Pomerol
Saturday 25th May 2024
10.00 am : visit/tasting at Château Gazin in Pomerol
Midday : visit and lunch at Clos du Clocher in Pomerol
6.00 pm : Clos René in Pomerol – visit/tasting, induction ceremony by Les Hospitaliers de Pomerol and Dinner

Morning: Visit of the Cité du Vin
A superb induction ceremony was organised by the Wine Brotherhood, Les Hospitaliers de Pomerol, to honor Maître Jean-Charles Lopez and Grand Argentier, Nicholas Hacking, from the Commanderie de Bordeaux in French-speaking Switzerland, for all the great work they accomplish to promote the wines from Bordeaux in their country.
The ceremony was held on Saturday March 25th, 2024 at Clos René, property owned by Mr. Jean-Marie Garde, President of the Fédération des Grands Vins de Bordeaux.
