In January 2023, Patrick de Cournuaud, of Château Mazeris in St Michel de Fronsac, becomes the new Grand Maître of the Wine Brotherhood, Les Gentilshommes du Duché de Fronsac, taking over from Michel Ponty.

This Bordeaux Wine Brotherhood counts at present 31 châteaux members in the appellations Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac.
