The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Hong Kong held its Bordeaux 2021 Vintage Tasting on Saturday 4^th June 2022, from 12.30 pm.

Here is a series of photos of this tasting event, which allowed guests to discover Bordeaux’s new vintage.

Like in many countries, social activities had been stranded for months and we are of no exception. Our Commanderie’s first event of the year took place soon when the Hong Kong government announced that we are again able to organize events in public places. There’s nothing better than to host the en Primeurs 2021 tasting and lunch at the Pool House of the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, a private dining area which seats 70 guests.

Members quickly registered and were eager to sample the quality of the wines. We sampled 40 wines from all over Bordeaux including Rose, Dry White, Red and Sauternes, followed by seafood buffet and BBQ lunch.

The event would not have been possible without the amazing assistance and support of Mmes Caroline DELAROCHE and Anne-Marie SHEPHERD-CAPDEMOURLIN of GCVB. The wines arrived right on time, in perfect condition and they helped to lift everyone's spirits, given the high quality and range of the wines. 

A big thanks to the Bordeaux wine producers for their 2021 samples and for continuing to enlighten our lives with style.
