The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Saigon continues its commitment to promoting Bordeaux wines among new generations.
The Commanderie’s first Next Gen Dinner was held this Friday, 21 August, at the initiative of Commandeur Danny Nguyen.
For this inaugural edition, around a dozen young wine enthusiasts were invited to enjoy a convivial dinner alongside several members of the Commanderie’s board.
Designed as an opportunity for discovery and exchange, the evening gave participants the chance to learn more about the Commanderie, its history and its strong connection with the wines of Bordeaux, while enjoying a special tasting experience.
The evening featured a convivial dinner and a blind tasting of several Bordeaux wines. The standout wine of the tasting was Château Lynch-Bages 1990, which particularly impressed the guests throughout the evening.
Beyond the tasting itself, this first gathering also enabled the Commanderie to identify several young Bordeaux wine enthusiasts eager to join the family of the Commanderies de Bordeaux. Their induction is planned for the 10th anniversary celebration of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Saigon, which will take place on 27 November.
Through this initiative, the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Saigon is opening a new avenue for sharing a passion for Bordeaux and introducing its world to a new generation of Bordeaux wine enthusiasts.
