January 26, 2021Commanderie de Bordeaux in Osaka - 30th anniversary and a special article featured in the magazine "TARU"
At the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Osaka, in Japan, a superb special article is presented in the monthly magazine “TARU”, in January 2021.
The Grand Maître of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, Hubert de Boüard de Laforest sent a message of congratulations to the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Osaka, to mark this landmark date :
"The Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, of which I am honoured to be President, unites 94 Commanderies de Bordeaux around the world and brings together 4 000 members, all worthy representatives and enthusiasts of Bordeaux wines.
Japan counts 5 Commanderies de Bordeaux based in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Sapporo and Nagoya, with a total of 700 members.
The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Osaka is one of the oldest and today has a total of almost 200 members to its credit.
On behalf of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux and all of Bordeaux’s winegrowers, I congratulate the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Osaka for its 30 years of existence and would like to convey to our dear Commandeurs and dear readers, all our gratitude and thanks for your commitment and loyalty to Bordeaux Wines.
