At the occasion of Bordeaux Wine Festival in Liverpool on 24th April 2018, a procession was made by the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, the Wine Brotherhoods and the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Manchester .

Didier Meneuvrier, representing the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, awarded the title of Ambassadeur d’Honneur des Vins de Bordeaux to the following VIPs:

Claire McColgan – Director of Culture at Liverpool City Hall

Paul Askew – Patron and Owner of a mult-award winning Art School

Joe Anderson – Mayor of Liverpool
