The gala dinner of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Hanoi took place on 20 January 2026 in the prestigious residence of the French Embassy in Vietnam. Organised at the invitation of Mr Olivier Brochet, French Ambassador to Vietnam, the event was also attended by Mr Julien Guerrier, Ambassador of the European Union.

The event brought together 54 guests, including eight new Commanders, four of whom were women, bringing the total number of female Commanders within the Commanderie to nine. The wines served were particularly well received, including vintages from Bastor-Lamontagne (Crémant and Sauternes), Blanc de Tronquoy, Château Gazin, Grand-Puy-Lacoste and Lacoste-Borie.

Following an initial gala held at the end of 2024, this event confirms the successful relaunch of the Bordeaux Wine Club in Hanoi and opens up promising prospects for the development of future initiatives to promote Bordeaux wines in Vietnam!
