Following a call for samples relayed by the CIVB last June, the Revue du Vin de France is publishing in its November issue a selection of 65 Bordeaux whites (dry and sweet, priced up to €20) divided into two sections: Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.

"Girondin winemakers seem to be breaking free from the aesthetic conventions of the past. By expressing themselves in floral, fruity, or spicy registers, these white wines do not lose any complexity but offer a clearer interpretation of what a Bordeaux white wine is," writes Jérôme Baudouin, who conducted this blind tasting last September at the CIVB.
