The Vins Km de Saint-Émilion Race
A unique sporting and cultural experience in the heart of the prestigious Saint-Émilion wine area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique race combines the pleasure of running with the discovery of the region's exceptional winemaking heritage.
This race is coordinated by the Rotary Club of Libourne Saint-Émilion and was created by Jean Aboudaram in 2015.
All funds raised are donated to assist research for:
– the treatment of brain diseases, funding equipment and supporting patients,
– as well as all humanitarian actions aligned with Rotary International's strategic priorities, such as: disease prevention and treatment, maternal and child health, literacy and basic education, as well as the eradication of polio.
The Jurade de Saint-Emilion held an exceptional ceremony to induct two people at this occasion, including the well-known actor and comedian, Maxime Gasteuil.
