The Board of Governors’ Meeting of the Commanderies de Bordeaux USA took place in Dallas, from January 24^th to 27_th 2025.

At this occasion, the transfer of power took place between the former Maître Rick Currey to the new Maître, Mrs Virginia (Jeannie) Jans. Grand Maître, Eric Vogt officiated at her induction. Jeannie Jans becomes the first woman Maître of this Commanderie de Bordeaux in Dallas.

During her induction, she had the wonderful surprise of having the participation of all other women Maîtres of the Commanderies of Bordeaux in the United States, dressed in their ceremonial capes to honor this induction.

At this occasion, on Friday24^th January 2025, Kristen Wheeler was also inducted. She will become Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Seattle, in spring 2025.
