From 20^th to 24^th March 2024, a group of 25 members of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Stuttgart came for a wonderful visit of the Bordeaux wine region. Their stay in Bordeaux was guided by Markus Del Monego MW, World’s Best Sommelier in 1998.

On March 21^st, at Château Léoville-Barton, Mrs Lilian Barton-Sartorius received the German delegation for an evening ceremony of transfer of power, followed by dinner. The outgoing Maître, Hans-Jörg Lenz, passed his role to the new Maître, Christian Eckart.

The Grand Maître of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, Jean-Marc Dulong, presided over this ceremony.
