The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Hamburg held its 4th induction ceremony on Thursday 14th March 2024. 4 new Commandeurs were inducted at this occasion: Patrizia Böing, Axel Pfeifer, Andreas Grabarz and Heiko Thieme.
Commandeurs and guests took part in a wine ranking. Every member had to rank the wines by visual aspect (colour), aromas (fruit, intensity), taste (fruit, wood, tobacco, spices, etc..), length of taste and overall impression.
It was close and the top 3 wines were:
1st: Château Guiraud 2015,1er Grand Cru Classé, Sauternes
2nd: Château Branaire-Ducru 2011, 4ème Grand Cru Classé, Saint-Julien
3rd: Château d’Armailhac 2015, 5ème Grand Cru Classé, Pauillac
It was a lovely dinner with good conversations.
