The CIVB, with its President Allan Sichel and a large team, launched its new advertising campaign to modernise the image of Bordeaux wines, under the banner of «Join the Bordeaux Crew». Marc Fesneau, Minister for Agriculture, came for the inauguration of the show on Monday, February 12th. The CIVB asked a maximum number of winegrowers and members of the Bordeaux brotherhoods to come and make up a large human ribbon to mark this launch. Marc Fesneau officially cut this ribbon to mark the launch. Here is a link to the video on Instagram:

Many Bordeaux winegrowers confirmed their participation at Wine Paris - Vinexpo Paris 2024. The Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux contacted the Commanderies of Bordeaux to see if members would be present and to facilitate their access to this professional show.
At this occasion, the GCVB took advantage of this opportunity to meet them to allow them to taste various wines in the presence of Bordeaux winegrowers, members of the Bordeaux wine trade and meet with wine professionals.

Jean-Marc DULONG, Grand Maître of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, was present for the 3 days of Wine Paris Vinexpo Paris, to take part in tastings held by the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux.

The Wine Syndicate of the Pomerol appellation, in partnership with Terre de Vins, also organised a Grand Tasting at this occasion, on Monday, February 12th, at the Intercontinental Hotel Paris-Le Grand, from 6pm to 9pm. Invitations were kindly offered to all members of the Commanderies of Bordeaux.
