Maître Alex Cheung gives us a few details about this 2012 Pomerol wine tasting evening.
The featured wines were :
Clos L’Eglise 2012,
Château Petit Village 2012,
Château Hosanna 2012
Château L’Evangile 2012
All of the wines were showing beautifully and confirmed the reputation that the 2012 is a very fine vintage on the Right Bank, where the early ripening Merlot was picked in great conditions and in excellent health, before the heavy October rains fell in the rest of Bordeaux.
The dinner was held at “Another Place” in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The owners are great enthusiasts of the fine wine scene in Hong Kong and their restaurant has been a superb wine-and-dine hot spot since 2015, with a beautiful venue, great views and fantastic food.
