From 15^th to 17^th September 2023, Le Monde newspaper opens its doors to the public, for meetings, conferences, debates. This year, Bordeaux wines are the exclusive wine partner of this festival with, on the esplanade in front of the newspaper’s head office, a Bordeaux Wine Bar (run by 7 Bordeaux winegrowers) and workshops proposed by the Bordeaux Wine School. Alongside this, wine tasting-workshops on the theme of Bordeaux wines held by two journalists from Le Monde.

Organised on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, this event brings together both experts and the general public (subscribers to Le Monde in priority) for a varied programme of events: visits to the editorial department of the newspaper, conferences and debates with journalists and various events held on the esplanade in front of the head office.

During this event (Saturday 16^th and Sunday 17^th September) Bordeaux Wine workshops will also be held by Ophélie Neiman and Laure Gasparotto, journalists and wine tasters for Le Monde. Four editorial themes used to tell the story of Bordeaux:

• White Bordeaux wines
• Unusual Red Bordeaux wines
• When to drink Bordeaux?
• Inheritance: is development the key to bequeathing successfully?

7 000 festival-goers, 1 500 glasses served at the Bordeaux Wine Bar, 300 people given an initiation by the Bordeaux Wine School, 100 participants at the tasting workshops organised by two journalists from around the world: from 15^th to 17^th September, the Festival du Monde put Bordeaux in the spotlight!

Bordeaux wines were the exclusive wine partner of this 9^th event of the Festival du Monde. Three days during which the newspaper’s headquarters opened its doors to the general public, in the 13^th arrondissement of Paris.
