From September 12^th to 21^st 2023, a tour will take place in 4 Chinese cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Canton, Chengdu) to present to Chinese wine professionals (400 people expected) a selection of Bordeaux wines not yet sold in China.

Objective: change Chinese wine professionals’ perception of Bordeaux wines by presenting new wines which reflect the modernity and dynamism of the Bordeaux winegrowing region, while complying with the marketing strategy for this market.

This event will bring together wine professionals in 4 Chinese cities in September 2023: Beijing, Shanghai, Canton, Chengdu, and will host for the second time a selection of Bordeaux wines not yet sold in China.

=> 118 references not yet distributed in China will be presented this year to Chinese wine professionals.

=> 400 Chinese wine professionals are expected in each city and 35 Media/journalists expected in Shanghai and Beijing

The main targets are importers and wholesalers then buyers, distributors and traditional channels. This operation is organised jointly by the CIVB and the organic groups: Médoc, Whites, Côtes de Bourg as well as Saint-Emilion-Pomerol and Fronsac. (Winegrowers and members of the Wine Trade).

As in 2022, the bottles will bear a QR code that will direct to the Mini Programme of Bordeaux wines and the dedicated fact sheet of each reference. Chinese professionals will be able to contact Bordeaux wine producers via a form that will be sent to them automatically.

• Guangzhou: September 14^th
• Beijing: September 19^th
• Chengdu: September 21^st
