Tour de France 2023: Bordeaux, city of arrival of leg 7 of the race and Libourne, stop-over town and departure point for leg 8

In the Gironde, this leg of 170 km, the Tour will cross South-Gironde, the Entre-deux-Mers, and will enter the city, having crossed Camblanes-et-Meynac and Latresne. The group of cyclists will then reach Bouliac from the D 113 where it will take the direction of the Quay de la Souys, to be able to race along the Quays of Floirac. The competitors will continue to race alongside the Garonne, right bank before taking the Saint-Jean bridge to head for the left bank. Here they will begin a 2km straight line for a final sprint along the quays of Bordeaux, right up to the finishing line on the Place des Quinconces.

The cyclists are expected to arrive at the finishing line around 5.20 pm on 7th July.

The following day, the Tour de France group of cyclists will set off from Libourne.

Leg 8 : Libourne - Limoges – 8th July 2023

As a preparation for the Puy-de-Dôme, the 8th leg of the Tour de France will run along a hilly route between Libourne and Limoges, for a distance of 201 km.

Libourne is a stop-over town for the Tour de France in 2023, for the 5th time in its history, since 1957.
