The speech given by Maître Christophe Waterkeyn

Dear châteaux owners of Fronsac and Canon Fronsac,
Dear Commandeurs,
Dear Inductees,
Dear friends,

Our eleventh official induction ceremony and gala dinner is now past.

What a pleasure for the 90 guests to have been able to take part in this marvellous occasion held by our Commanderie focused on nine prestigious Châteaux of the FRONSAC and CANON-FRONSAC appellations, in this lovely pastoral setting of the Villa du Hautsart de Jodoigne.

Once again, all our congratulations to our eight new Commandeurs de Bordeaux in Wallonia and to the three new Honorary members of the Wine Brotherhood of the Gentilshommes de Fronsac, who have all promised to praise and defend, at all times and in all places, the value, charm and qualities of Bordeaux wines, of Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac.

Bravo to Head-Chef Olivier Wilbers and his chef for the quality of the food that accompanied marvellously these great lords of Bordeaux Wine.

I would like to thank once again our guests who spoilt us by providing us with their wines for this evening:

We are preparing again another event of quality for this year and we hope to see many participants, in the presence of winegrowers from the Bordeaux region.
