The Osaka Commanderie de Bordeaux held a "Casual Wine Party" in the afternoon of May 20^th, 2023.

The event was held at the KH Gallery ASHIYA, (Hyogo), where the works of art of Mrs. Hiroko KOSHINO, of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Osaka, ADM Committee member and fashion designer, are displayed.

This event was first held in the spring of 2017 as a casual gathering to enjoy Bordeaux wines, separate from the annual meeting and gala dinner held every fall. It had been canceled since 2020 due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, but it was held for the first time in four years.

The event started with opening remarks by Dr. Yuji MATSUZAWA, Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux inOsaka, and a toast by Mr. Yoshiaki HOMPO, Grand Maître of Bordeaux Wines in Japan.

Regent of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Osaka, Mr. Shingo TORII, and about 40 participants enjoyed 23 wines from 16 appellations of Bordeaux on a spring afternoon.
