New Maître – Jean-Charles Lopez – Commanderie de Bordeaux in French-speaking Switzerland

I am delighted to continue the work of my predecessor, Alexander Dembitz, Maître Emeritus, who has made such a tremendous contribution to the influence of our Commanderie for so many years. I thank the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux for its support. We will continue to work hand in hand.

Emotions ran high during our Annual General Meeting and the transfer of power from Maître Emeritus, Alexander Dembitz, to me as the new Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in French-speaking Switzerland.

Along with all the participants, I was deeply moved and impressed by the presence of the Hubert de Boüard de la Laforest, Grand Maître and Francis Boutemy, Grand Maître Emérite, of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux.

Maître Bruno Strassle, from the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Zurich, also honoured us with his presence at this ceremony.
