Dear Commandeurs, Dear friends,
Before turning into a festive and fun dinner with amazing wines at the Northern Club (Patrick, thanks again for the Château Cheval Blanc 1976 !), our AGM was a very constructive get-together with lots of valuable input from everyone present.
Prior to the AGM, our friend Stephen White informed us about his intention to step away from the Board, while remaining an enthusiastic supporter and Commandeur of course. In addition to producing one of the most exquisite Bordeaux style wines in New Zealand, Stephen is one of the founding members and he greatly contributed to our organization right from the start. Stephen, we genuinely and warmly thank you for that and can’t wait to see you at our next event (mark the date, 25th Nov for our year end dinner, invites to follow soon !).
It is my pleasure to announce that our friend Ian Cathro, huge supporter from the very beginning, joins our Board as a fellow director. Ian, we are thrilled to have you onboard. Your enthusiasm, camaraderie and wise input will be highly appreciated.

I feel humbled to have been asked to keep on serving the Commanderie as your Maître for another term. My energy will be focused on sustainably growing our “embassy”, in keeping with its philosophy and values, while always nurturing the fun we share.
