The latest hailstorm of unprecedented violence hit the Bordeaux winegrowing region on Monday 20^th June 2022. It destroyed several thousands of hectares of vines and struck with incredible force the regions of the Médoc, Blaye, Bourg, Cubzac, Fronsac and Libourne, leaving in its wake bleak landscapes of devastation.

In this context of radical climate change, over and over again Bordeaux winegrowers are having to cope with unceasing meteorological calamities.
