From April 27 to 29, 33 Commandeurs of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Wallonia travelled to the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards to meet six Grands Crus Classés in the Margaux and Pessac-Léognan appellations. A dense and exceptional programme, made possible thanks to the valuable support of Sophie Schÿler-Thierry and the owners of the estates visited.

The first day focused on the Margaux appellation:
- Visit of Château Brane-Cantenac followed by a tasting of three estates across the 2023, 2024 and 2025 vintages
- Lunch at the estate accompanied by wines from Château Brane-Cantenac
- Visit and tasting at Château Rauzan-Gassies
- Guided tour of Château Kirwan followed by an aperitif in front of the winery
The day concluded with a gala dinner held above the vat room at Château Kirwan, bringing together the six estates from Margaux and Pessac-Léognan, in the presence of the owners, with a tasting of numerous vintages, ending with a Sauternes from Château Guiraud.

The second day was lighter, dedicated to discovering the city centre and relaxing:
- Visit to the Demptos cooperage
- Lunch cruise on the Garonne aboard the Sicambre
- Guided tour of Bordeaux (Grand Théâtre, Place de la Bourse, Grosse Cloche, Quinconces, Cathedral)
- Dinner along the Garonne

The final day was devoted to the Graves and Pessac-Léognan appellations:
- Visit of Château Malartic-Lagravière
- Tasting at Domaine de Chevalier, showcasing several estates from the appellation
- Lunch at the estate featuring remarkable older vintages (1966, 1986)
- Visit and tasting at Château La Tour Martillac
- Closing dinner at the restaurant La Tupina

Following this outstanding journey, marked by the quality of the hospitality, the diversity of tastings, and the richness of exchanges with the estate owners, the 33 participants warmly thank all their hosts for their availability and generosity.
