Stéphane Bern, New "Pope of Heritage" at Château Pape Clément

At the occasion of Saint Clement's Day, celebrated at the Ducasse Baccarat restaurant in Paris, Bernard Magrez had the honor of bestowing upon Stéphane Bern the title of "Pope of Heritage."

A passionate and tireless advocate of heritage, Stéphane Bern has dedicated years to protecting and restoring it, while sharing its history with exemplary devotion.

Succeeding Franz-Olivier Giesbert, Stéphane Bern joins a long line of such figures, including Mstislav Rostropovich, Bernard Buffet, Jean-Paul Guerlain, Paul Bocuse, Charles Aznavour, Bernard Pivot, Louis Benech, Alain Baraton, and Jean Mus.

This exceptional day pays tribute to deserving individuals in their field and echoes the unique history of Château Pape Clément, formerly owned by Bertrand de Goth, who became Pope Clement V in 1305.

Surrounded by distinguished guests, we celebrated French culture, arts, and craftsmanship with a menu created by Alain Ducasse.

The Château Pape Clément Quartet enhanced the luncheon by bringing to life four historic instruments designated as World Treasures, including an authentic Stradivarius violin under our patronage.

A truly special moment, perfectly in line with Bernard Magrez's vision: to transmit, protect, and promote a unique heritage.
