November 7, 2025Commanderie de Bordeaux in Vienna. A new Maître, at the Grand Chapitre, held on 7th November 2025
New Maître - Peter G. Hidasi
On 7th November 2025, the Grand Chapitre of the Commanderie de Bordeaux à Vienne took place in the festive surroundings of the Palais Todesco. In the presence of the Grand Maître Jean-Marc Dulong, a change of leadership occurred at the head of the Vienna Commanderie: the outgoing Maître, Christian Hauer, handed over the office to his successor, Peter Hidasi. Also in attendance at the ceremony were the Grand Maître of the Commanderies in Germany, Peter Baumgardt, and the Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Hambourg, Urs Stefan Kinting.
Christian Hauer successfully led the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Vienna from 2008 to 2025. During these 17 years, the Commanderie grew to 38 members, and Christian Hauer leaves behind countless cherished memories of our association’s activities. Peter Hidasi, who joined the Vienna Commanderie in 2010, will strive to lead the Commanderie according to his vision in the years to come.
