A weekend that will forever be etched in the history of our Commanderie.
With 100 participants, a record in 44 years, we embodied more than ever our motto: “The Sky is the Limit.”
We had the honor of welcoming Mr. Vincent Priou, Managing Director of Châteaux Petit-Village and Beauregard. On his birthday, a touch of Swiss flair—yodels, alphorns, and traditional Swiss music—enhanced the evening.
An exceptional gift was presented to him thanks to the generosity of Antonio Teixeira of Bucherer Geneva.
Mr. Priou's masterful tasting delighted our members, as did the blending workshop led by our Vinothécaire, Andrew Bayles, made possible thanks to the oenological equipment donated by Ghislain Boutemy of Château Haut-Lagrange.
We also discovered Vegas cigars from Santiago, presented by Dirk Lambert, and South African brandies introduced by Alastair Coombe.
Finally, our Commandeur, Pierre-Igor Cusnir de Berthaudin, made it possible for everyone to purchase the wines tasted and extend the enjoyment. A weekend marked by friendship, sharing, and excellence — and a magnificent demonstration of the spirit of our Commanderie.
