On 15^th July 2019, the General Assembly of the CIVB elected its new President for the next three years.

Bernard Farges, a Bordeaux winegrower, takes over from Allan Sichel, who is a wine merchant.  This is part of the system of alternation between representatives of the wine trade and wine production at the head of the CIVB.
