From 12^th to 21^st September, 112 references of Bordeaux wines*, not yet distributed on this market, were presented to Chinese trade professionals and journalists during a "roadshow" in four of the country’s largest cities (Shanghai, Beijing, Canton and Chengdu).

Masterclasses and experiential workshops were given, and QR codes on bottles allowed tasters to contact Bordeaux producers.

Nearly 1 750 representatives of the Chinese trade took part in these events, so an increase in attendance (+44%) compared to the tour in 2022, whereas the economic situation was more competitive this year and the market is still at a low level.

Bordeaux wines therefore continue to arouse the curiosity of Chinese professionals, in a country whose economy is nevertheless currently on a downturn.
