The Harvest Proclamation 2021 by the Jurade de Saint-Emilion was held on Sunday 19^th September 2021.

The traditional organisation of events began at 9.30 am with a procession of the Jurats in the streets of the village of Saint-Emilion, then mass celebrated from 10 am in the Collegiate church of Saint-Emilion, followed by an induction ceremony, during which twenty people became honorary members of the Jurade de Saint-Emilion.  Among others, the following people were inducted as Jurats, Bourgeois de Saint-Emilion, on Sunday 19^th September 2021 :

• The journalistst Élisabeth Quin, presenter of the programme "28 minutes"  on the channel Arte
• The journalistst /Editor in Chief of L’Obs magazine, François Armanet
• Chairman of the Rugby club Union Bordeaux-Bègles, Laurent Marti
• The Bordeaux city Councillor, Brigitte Bloch
• The Bordeaux slam poet Souleymane Diamanka

Souleymane Diamanka collaborated on a project with Château Fleur-Cardinale and won fame with the poem "Millésime après millésime", a tribute paid to winegrowers and the work they accomplish.  

After an aperitif held in the cloister of the Collegiate church, a magnificent banquet, accompanied by a superb selection of 11 wines of Saint-Emilion, was served in the Salle des Dominicains, from 1.30 pm.

At the end of the day, the Harvest Proclamation 2021 was officially declared by the Jurats from the top of the King's Tower.
